What should you do?

Research Available Fitness Facilities

Before your trip, check what fitness options are available at your destination. Hotels often offer gyms, so choose hotels that have such facilities. If not, cities always have local gyms, parks, or running tracks. If your chosen gym doesn’t offer single-entry passes or you can’t find this information, keep reading!

Pack the Necessary Equipment

Prepare by taking basic exercise equipment that doesn’t take up much space in your luggage. Pack your sports shoes, workout clothes, and essential accessories you use. There’s no better excuse not to exercise than forgetting your gear.

Plan Your Workouts in Your Travel Schedule

Integrate your workouts with your travel itinerary. Set specific times for exercise so they don’t conflict with other planned activities. Even a 30-minute run can help maintain your fitness. With preparation and a shower, it’s just an hour out of your day, and your fitness routine remains intact.

Set Realistic Fitness Goals

Before your trip, think about what fitness goals are realistic for you to achieve during your travels. It could be maintaining your current level of activity, improving a specific skill, or simply staying active. Setting realistic goals will help you stay motivated and focused on achieving the desired results. We recommend not planning progress during short trips. Aim for routine maintenance workouts that you’ll enjoy.

Proper preparation for travel from a fitness perspective will allow you to enjoy your trip without sacrificing physical activity, positively impacting your health and well-being.
